iOS 4 found another way to push back our new features; 1.06 is another bug fix for backgrounded app behavior. Read the full release notes for details...
Apple has just approved 1.05, and we've released it to the App Store. The condition fixed in 1.05 turns out to have one remaining problem, which doesn't let you drag stickies once the underlying error condition (which we believe is an out-of-memory condition while ASU is in the background) occurs. We're working on another patch for 1.06 which we expect to send to Apple next week.
The SQLite back-end will wait for 1.06! 1.05's now out at Apple to correct view reinitialization which sometimes left the text "Oops! Something has gone wrong. Relaunch." on your stickies. After being in the background. And running out of memory. With a full moon. On Friday. Or something.
Version 1.05 is already in the pipeline, as we re-architect the backend data store to use SQLLite instead of flat XML files. Stay tuned!
Version 1.04 addresses an iOS 4 multitasking issue which, for heavy multitasking users, would have caused notes to never save. We expect this version to be available in approximately one week.
Verison 1.03, which should correct the problems some users are seeing with saving and losing notes, is now available in the App Store. Users may need to do a one-time recovery of their notes following these instructions.
Verison 1.03, which should correct the problems some users are seeing with saving and losing notes, has been sent to Apple for review and immediate release. In the meantime we have some workarounds that should help.
