Where's my code?

If you purchased a registration code through SWReg and have not yet received it, look up your order at SWReg, send the information you find to us at support@dejavusoftware.com, and we'll take it from there.

If you have purchased a product through Kagi and have not yet received your code, do the following. First, look up your order in Kagi's tracking system. If you can't find it there, you can send Kagi an e-mail through the same system or have a look at Kagi's FAQ to get more information.

If you find your order in Kagi's system, send the information you find to us at support@dejavusoftware.com and we'll take it from there.

My code won't work!

Please make sure of the following:

If you've tried all of these things and it still won't work, tell us so and we'll get you straightened out.

I lost my code!

If you previously registered with us and need to be reminded of your registration code for one of our products, enter your e-mail address here: and press: . We will send you an e-mail containing your registration code.

If you're unable to use this system for some reason (like you've changed e-mail addresses since you ordered), look up your original order in SWReg's tracking system or Kagi's tracking system (whichever system processed your order) and send us the information you find.

I need a code for my company

When we send you a registration code it is based (in part) on your name. Our policy is to generate registration codes only for names of individuals, not entire companies or organizations. Otherwise every person in your company could use the same registration code, and we'd only get paid for one copy.

But I'm the only one that's going to use the software!

While that may be true, we have no assurance of that. One person using the code or one hundred, we'd never know the difference.

But it has to be registered to the company, since I'm not paying for it, they are.

It doesn't matter to us who owns the registration code, the fact remains that a code is for the use of an individual. If you leave your company they retain ownership of the code. If they want to assign it to someone else they should contact us with that person's name and we'll issue a new code for that person.

What's to stop me from giving everyone in the company my name and code?

Technically, nothing. It does mean however that each time someone starts up the software they'll see "Registered To: Your Name," and know that you're the one that cheated us out of our money. Guilt isn't a perfect motivator, but it's the best we've got.

So how do I legitimately get a code for the entire company?

If you need to purchase 15 or more registration codes to support your company, contact us and we'll give you a code that's tied to your company name. For fewer than 15 you'll have to register each copy individually.
